Job Summary
House Parents (Full-time Flex Houseparents) reside in on-campus student homes in a two-person, married-couple role to provide care, supervision, mentorship, and guidance for a group of around 813 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, managing household budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role over time. The position includes relocation to Hershey, PA, with on-site housing and comprehensive benefits; salary is $44,768 per person with total compensation for a couple around $168,000. Requires on-campus living, willingness to work a nine-on, three-off schedule, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year marriage
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
