Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) live in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead devotions and Chapel attendance, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from nine days on/three days off to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, married couple must apply individually
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Ability to reside in on-campus homes with students
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
