Job Summary
Two-person, on-campus Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, for married couples to supervise and provide mentorship for 8–13 students in a student home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, routine management, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a permanent Houseparent assignment living with the same group of students in their own home. Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
