Job Summary
Provide supervision, mentorship, and organized activities for a group of ~813 students in on-campus homes as a Full-time Flex Houseparent couple. Responsibilities include managing household routines, administering medications, chauffeuring students to activities, planning developmental activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. The role starts as Nine days on / three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living in the same student home. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, paid training, and designated PTO. Requires two married spouses (>=27) to apply individually; both spouses must complete applications.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Relocation to Hershey, PA
