Job Summary
Two-person married couple Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living on-campus to supervise and mentor 8–13 students in a student home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, coordinating household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off to a placed houseparent arrangement with the same group of students. Requires on-campus residence, on-site presence, and a commitment to a family-like environment that supports students’ academic, emotional, and social development.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married couple
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Two-person role for couples married at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual applications

- No alcohol on duty
- Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds
