Job Summary
House Parents - Relocation to Paradise, MT (on-campus) for Milton Hershey School: Two married, legally eligible couples will serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents living in on-campus student homes, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental/recreational programs, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and handling household budgeting/reporting. Couples follow a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, then transition to a Placed Houseparent role for ongoing housing with the same student group. Relocation assistance is provided; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement savings, paid time off, and housing/meals on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and chapel services
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
