Job Summary
House Parents (Flex, Full-time) reside on-campus in student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and progress from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent while living with the same group of students. The role requires working with a two-person, legally married couple, commitment to youth development, driving responsibilities, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and compliance with campus rules; the position includes relocation assistance, paid training, and comprehensive benefits. For consideration, both spouses must submit individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse marriage for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver''s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Additional Requirements
- Commitment to a smoke-free campus; weapon-free campus
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
