Job Summary
House Parents for on-campus student homes: a two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role for married couples living with approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervision, scheduling, medication administration, driving, planning/developing activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. After an initial nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule, the role transitions to a placed houseparent with the same group of students. Requires HS diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and both spouses aged 27+, with relocation assistance provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
