Job Summary
Two-person married couple sought as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School to reside on-campus in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for about 813 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married requirement for two-person role
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
