Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents needed to live in on-campus student homes and mentor 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and coordinating Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially support multiple student homes with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, then transition to a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students. Requires experience with youth, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, a valid U.S. driver’s license with the ability to become certified to drive student home vans, and a strong commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role model for students
- Residence in on-campus student homes and willingness to follow a structured routine
