Job Summary
Two-person married couple Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School; reside on-campus in Hershey to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students, provide care, supervision, and household management, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and participate in Sunday Chapel. The role transitions from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Compensation includes base salary per person with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. Requires high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license with driving certification for student vans, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; two-year married, 27+ age per spouse; smoke-free and weapon-free campus rules; and on-campus residence arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-year marriage minimum
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to lead daily devotions and accompany students to Chapel
- Compliant with smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
