Job Summary
Two-person married couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. The couple reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 813 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The position begins with a nine-on, three-off duty cycle and may transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- Two-spouse role must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to relocate to Hershey, PA ( relocation assistance provided)
