Job Summary
Two-person married couple Full-time Flex Houseparents needed to reside on campus at Milton Hershey School. Provide care, supervision, and mentorship for a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, and plan/develop developmental and recreational activities. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel; oversee budgeting and household reporting. Initially support various student homes on a 9 days on / 3 days off schedule, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance provided; salary per person is $46,917 with total compensation around $180,000 per couple including housing and other benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Two-spouse two-year marriage requirement
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services

- Must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses must complete individual applications; age 27 or older for both spouses
