Job Summary
Married couples serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living in on-campus student homes and providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and managing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
