Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person couples) reside on-campus in Hershey, PA, to supervise and nurture groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and evolves into a placed houseparent living with the same student group. The position offers relocation assistance, a comprehensive benefits package, and paid training; requires two spouses who are legally married, aged 27 or older, with a high school diploma or GED and valid driver’s licenses, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
