Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple role serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Earns approximately $46,917 per person with on-campus housing; duties include supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading activities and devotions, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed-houseparent assignment. Position begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and requires relocation to Hershey, PA with relocation assistance and paid training. Applicants must be married couples, both age 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, and willing to obtain driver certification and comply with campus policies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
