Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents in Benld, IL live in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on/three-off schedule and transitions to a placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. This is a two-person, married-couple position with relocation assistance provided; benefits include medical/dental/vision, HSAs, retirement savings, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
