Job Summary
House Parents (Full-time Flex Houseparents) provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for groups of 8–13 students in on-campus homes at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule as a Flex Houseparent, with eventual placement into a fixed student-home assignment. Requires two-person, married-couple participation, relocation to the on-campus home, and a strong commitment to student success. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years

- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proximity to on-campus housing and ability to relocate to Hershey, PA
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model responsibilities
