Job Summary
Two-person married couple will reside on-campus as Full-time Flex Houseparents, providing supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living in the same student home; relocation offered with benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
