Job Summary
Two-person married couple required to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, residing on campus to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for student development. Responsibilities include administering medications, driving students to activities, planning/developing developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students in their own home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism with students
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
