Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, supervision, and mentorship for a group of 8–13 students, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and oversee household routines and budgeting. Initially rotating through multiple homes on a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, with eventual placement into a single student home. Compensation includes $46,917 per person (roughly $180,000 total per couple) plus comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training; includes on-site housing and meals while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
