Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, residing in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead devotions and Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from rotating nine-on/three-off duty to a stable placed homerole; requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to living with and guiding students in a structured, family-like environment; couples must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, and complete separate applications; relocation assistance provided.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
