Job Summary
Two-person married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, living on-campus in student homes and supervising a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a nine-days-on/three-days-off cycle to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person of $46,917 plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance; the role requires both spouses to complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, two-person role
- Valid U.S. driver’s license or ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
