Job Summary
House Parents – full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes in Hershey, PA, providing care, supervision, and mentorship to groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving and planning activities, leading devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent. This two-person, married-couple role requires both spouses to complete individual applications; relocation assistance is provided and benefits are included. Salary per person is $44,768 annually (total compensation approx. $168,000 per couple with housing and on-duty meals).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Must be legally married and two-spouse requirement (two applications)
- Two-person role for married couple
- Age 27 or older per spouse
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
