Job Summary
Two-person married couple needed to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on an on-campus student home in Hershey, PA. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person of $44,768 (approx. $168,000 total per couple with housing and meals), comprehensive health/dental/vision insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse two-year marriage requirement
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model behavior for students
