Job Summary
House Parents provide daily supervision, mentorship, and holistic care for a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. The role rotates on a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule initially, then transitions to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel participation, budgeting, and household reporting, with relocation to Hershey, PA, and involvement in development and recreation activities in a family-like environment. The position is full-time and requires a legally married two-spouse team, both ages 27+, to apply individually.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year legally married partnership for both spouses
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
