Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents: married couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and following a rotating duty schedule (nine days on, three off) with eventual placement into a single-houseparent assignment. The role includes relocation to Hershey, PA with on-site housing and comprehensive benefits, plus relocation assistance and paid training. Both spouses must complete individual applications, meet age and background requirements, and maintain a family-friendly, faith-aligned environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, two-year marriage minimum
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to follow on-campus living arrangements and schedules
