Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent roles for married couples to live in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially, a nine-on, three-off schedule with transition to a placed houseparent, living and working with the same group of students in their own home. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required; relocation assistance and paid training provided. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement savings, paid time off, and other comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
- Willingness to relocate/take on on-campus housing and duties
