Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise ~8–13 students, provide mentorship, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from flexible homes to a stable assigned home. The role requires a two-person, married couple living on campus, with a schedule of nine days on followed by three off, relocation to Hershey, PA area, on-site housing, and duties that include youth supervision, activity planning, and religious services. Benefits include salary per person (~$46,917) with total compensation around $180k per couple, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license or ability to become licensed to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Two-person role for couples (both spouses must apply)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Residence on campus/on-site housing required
