Job Summary
House Parents ( Full-time, on-campus ); married couples reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and guide 8–13 students, provide daily supervision, plan activities, administer medications, lead daily devotions, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The role transitions from nine days on / three days off to a placed houseparent arrangement with the same student group. Requires two-spouse marriage, both spouses age 27+, GED or high school diploma, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; compensation per person is $46,917 annually, totaling about $180,000 per couple when including housing and benefits. This is a two-person, on-campus residence and student-care position with a strong emphasis on mentorship, spirituality components, and student development.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED required
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
