Job Summary
Milton Hershey School is hiring a two-person, Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside on-campus in Hershey, PA, caring for a group of 8–13 students. Duties include daily supervision, mentorship, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role living and working with the same student group. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
