Job Summary
Two-person, Full-time FLEX Houseparent role for married couples at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students, provide daily supervision, medication administration, transportation to activities, and lead developmental activities and daily devotions. Responsibilities include managing household routines, student schedules, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine-on/three-off duty to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Requires driving capability, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and commitment to a structured, family-like residential environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
Additional Requirements
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Cannot have more than three dependent children in the student home
