Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, live on campus in student homes and provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and may transition to a placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
