Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, supervising and guiding a group of 8–13 students, coordinating daily routines, medications, transportation to activities, and planning developmental/recreational activities. Responsibilities include leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and initially supporting multiple homes before transitioning to a placed houseparent in a dedicated student home. Schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with relocation to Hershey, PA and comprehensive benefits package provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet restrictions (fish and one dog of approved breeds)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
