Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in Londonderry, NH (US) to care for 8–13 students in a family-style home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual long-term residence in the same student home. Benefits include salary per person of $46,917 (approx. $180k total per couple) plus comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO. Requires experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free/weapon-free campus and alcohol-free duty. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA and work on-campus
