Job Summary
House Parents (two-person, married couples) sought for Full-time Flex Houseparent roles at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, medications administration, and support for 8–13 students, with duties including driving to activities, planning development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting, and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, then transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA, with full benefits and relocation assistance. Requires two-year married couple, both spouses age 27+, and a commitment to a structured, family-like residential environment for student success.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person married couple age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No more than three dependent children in residence
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
