Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparents (married couple) reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and support for approximately 813 students; responsibilities include managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, with an initial nine-on/three-off duty cycle and eventual transition to a placed houseparent role. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required; benefits include salary per person ($44,768), comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance. Must be a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, and meet listed qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Ability to complete individual employment applications
