Job Summary
House Parents—Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School. A two-person, married-couple role based on campus that provides daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and participating in development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role begins with a nine-on/three-off schedule across multiple student homes, with eventual placement into a consistent student-home assignment. Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for married couples
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience with youth preferred
- No smoking or weapons on campus
- Proselytizing prohibited during activities
