Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School: a married couple resides in on-campus student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, with an initial nine-on/three-off schedule and eventual placement as a steady Houseparent living with the same group.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must complete individual applications
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and attending Chapel services
- Able to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience with youth preferred
