Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents are a two-person, married-couple role in which both spouses reside in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care and mentorship, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and chapel attendance, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The position begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule and transitions to a Placed Houseparent role, with relocation support provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Committment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
