Job Summary
Two-person married couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents; live on-campus in student homes and provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-spouse household must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
