Job Summary
House Parents (Full-time Flex) provide care, supervision, and guidance to groups of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. The role is a two-person, married-couple position residing in student homes and leading daily routines, supervision, devotions, transportation, budgeting, and activity planning, with a transition path to a placed houseparent. Requires on-campus living in Hershey, PA, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED. Offers relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; salary per person is $44,768 (approx. $168,000 total per couple). Both spouses must complete individual applications and be at least 27 years old. Prospective candidates should have experience with youth and a willingness to comply with campus rules (smoke-free, weapon-free). Relocation and paid training provided, with an initial nine-on, three-off duty cycle and eventual home placement with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-spouse operation must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
