Job Summary
House Parents (Flex) for Milton Hershey School: a full-time, two-person couple-based role in on-campus student homes. Provide supervision, mentorship, and care for groups of 8–13 students, manage household routines, supervise schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and accompany students to Sunday Chapel. Initial nine-on, three-off duty cycle with eventual transition to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA, with comprehensive benefits and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, two-year-married requirement for eligibility
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- On-campus housing and supervision duties
- Two-person couple must apply individually
- Relocation assistance available
- Full-time employment expected
Additional Requirements
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Residence in or relocation to Hershey, PA area may be required
- No alcohol on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus
