Job Summary
Two-person married couple will reside on campus as Full-time Flex Houseparents, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students in a student home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, supervising budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed houseparent role with the same student group. Requires on-campus living, a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Benefits include relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive insurance, and other benefits; salary is $44,768 per person (approx. $168,000 total per couple).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-year married status
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
