Job Summary
Two-person, Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside on-campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and handling budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a fixed houseparent assignment. Relocation benefits provided and housing, meals, utilities, and more included per couple. Requires on-campus living, strong commitment to student development, and a two-spouse, married-couple team with a valid driver’s license and ability to drive student vans.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
