Job Summary
Fully-funded two-person House Parent opportunity on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students, including administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel. Initially nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Includes salary per person of $44,768 plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance; on-site housing and meals while on duty are included. Requires being a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, and a valid U.S. driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
