Job Summary
Two-person married couple needed as Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and mentorship for groups of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home. Benefits include a per-person salary of $46,917 plus comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. Requires youth-work experience, a high school diploma or GED, two-year marriage, age 27+, ability to lift 50 lbs, valid driver’s license, and the ability to drive student vans; emphasis on Judeo-Christian daily devotions and chapel participation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to weekly Chapel services
