Job Summary
Couples reside in on-campus student homes as Full-time Flex Houseparents, providing supervision, mentorship, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, then transitions to a Placed Houseparent role with the same student group in their own home. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required, with on-campus housing and comprehensive benefits included (medical/dental/vision, retirement, paid time off, relocation assistance, and training).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
