Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School (on-campus Hershey, PA) for married couples to supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like home environment. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent position living with the same students in their home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Desire to lead students in daily devotions and Chapel services
