Job Summary
Couples reside in on-campus student homes as Full-time Flex Houseparents, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role to live and work with the same group of students in their own home. On hire, schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual relocation into a stable houseparent assignment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
